When my weight loss doctor told me to increase my protein and avoid bread, pasta, rice and other grains. I almost died! OMG... What the heck am I going to eat?  Being vegetarian while traveling is one of the hardest diets ever, and avoiding grains is even harder! Yes. The struggle is real!

I made a conscious decision to add more seafood to my diet, or I will not succeed in shedding the pounds. Packing hard boiled eggs is not always going to happen, so I had to do something. 

I just finished a 3-day trip and let me tell you. It was very challenging. It was very difficult to find healthy, vegetarian stuff at the airport, and I can only eat so many bananas with peanut butter. LOL  I was so hungry by the 2nd day that  I finally gave in and got something from McDonald's. Yes...McDonald's! 

But wait.... Even thought it was McDonald's. I got something that had fewer calories and less fattening. My friend Gina bought me an Egg White McMuffin with no cheese. You're probably thinking. Yuck! How boring! It probably had no taste. 

Not so! I had packed an avocado and brought a small bottle of hot sauce in my lunch bag. I loaded up my boring breakfast with avocado and hot sauce and made it more flavorful. Totally saved the day.  #Healthy #Nutricious
