But I must admit, I love a challenge.

Plus I went to my doctor 2 weeks ago for the results of a blood test and he told me my blood cholesterol level had risen from desirable to too high within 3 short years!

  • So I have been eating less foods containing animal fats,

  • cutting all fat off meat before cooking,

  • tiny red meat meal once a week,

  • an egg every third day instead of every day,

  • replaced butter with margarine containing plant sterols,

  • cut down on all dairy products,

  • no cheese at all,

  • no yoghurt at all :(, 

  • porridge (rolled oats) every day,

  • 5 macadamia nuts every day,

  • more nuts and seeds generally,

I've also been making videos about how I am lowering my cholesterol.
