I took the kids to our local amusement park yesterday and walked over 10000. I average 3000 which is pretty sad for me. I want to go for 10K everyday. Since last Wednesday (when we all began,) I have not worked out once. Which is probably not a good idea considering from the beginning I said that I really wanted to get moving.

I consider myself a pretty decent eater. We hardly eat processed foods/drinks. But I have fine tuned my meals down to gobs of vegetables, nuts, yogurt, chicken, eggs and smaller potato portions. I am mainly trying to cut sugars, bad breads, and any other filler foods. I am replacing the fillers with fruits. 

I'm a Kansas Citian and love Boulevard beer. I can drink 3 easily at a time (a couple days a week.) A few weeks back, I started to replace the beer entirely with one glass of good wine (nearly every night.) 
Besides trying to eat and drink better, I have also tried to drink more water. 

I hope this gives everyone a better idea of where I am coming from. I know that I love to read how other people attempt to better themselves.
