You know that quote by Albert Einstein?

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".

Whenever I read it, I have a lightbulb moment and then move about my day continuing the same insane cycle.

I love chocolate, sugar, carbs. I've never considered a low-carb approach before because if anyone came between me and these temptations they may lose body parts.

I am realizing, however, that this 'everything in moderation' approach isn't working for me. I'm pretty sure the concept doesn't mean a pastry for breakfast with a sized-down iced cappuccino. Or eating healthy for everything but lunch while shoveling back a DQ blizzard with a side of onion rings.

I can't have just one cookie, one bite, one cheesecake (ha, just kidding).

As a very unhealthy vegetarian with an aversion to vegetables, it's time to break the cycle. I am now being very attentive to added sugar and moving towards breaking free.
