So here I am 40 years old, 2 and a half years into learning about proper nutrition and exercise. I won't say it has been easy. There have been many struggles throughout these 40 years, ranging from family experiences, self image, confidence issues, and depression, just to name a few. Over the last two years, I watched my mother battle cancer and lose to it this past February. I don't want that to be me, she was only 67 years old. My dad died at age 51 exactly one month before his birthday, cancer got him to. It is time to take back my health. It is time to get off the pity wagon and live every day. It is time for me to set the example for the ones I love and the ones I can inspire. It is time for me to be the best me I can be!
