OMG. What have I done!!!

I paid my hard earned $30.00 today to this challenge and now I have to pay the "I need to lose 4% of my bodyweight" piper. OMG, Now I have to actually be more dedicated than I already am. YIKES! Yeah, it's just 30 dollars, but something about paying the money and not knowing if you are really going to stick to this weight loss thing, just terrifies me.

Ok, so, today is the day I stay true to my mission and by happenstance, I owe it all to the 20/20 Panel Research company. I wanted to delete this group from my Facebook page today, but have not figured out to how to get them off of my page. As I was looking around trying to do this,  I seen a link, can't remember which, but there it was...Laila Ali's DietBet Challenge. No only can I win money and not only can I lose weight and meet fabulous people with the same mindset, but I have a chance to win a Skype meeting with Laila Ali. OMG! What I have I done??? That alone is a great incentive and I know I can lose 4% of my body weight within the time-frame alloted. I just know it...

I am going to do this... My goal is to be close to my ideal weight, for my height, by this time next year. Right now I am sitting at 222.4 pounds and need to get to 150 pds, there or about. I must say, I have NEVER seen Fat be so frickin angry! Fat is a trip ya'll! Especially as you get older. I am 53 and let me tell you, Fat does not like change. I am expecting to hit plateau's but I think if I keep mixing it up with my workouts, I can get there and eventually, the FAT can go somewhere and kiss my astronomical hour-glass shape that becomes more and more attainable with each and every day that I press for the mark.

I have been working out for the past 11 weeks, 5 days a week or more and I have never felt better and so strong. I hunger for my next work out now.  I love to sweat and I cherish the feeling of knowing that each and every rep, step and press is going to get me closer to that 150 mark.

"Pret Toujour Pret" an Army phrase I learned in the military, while in Korea at the 304th Signal Battalion -- which is French for "Ready Always Ready" and baby, I am READY!

BUT.... OMG! What have I done!! ( biting my nails )

My bad, I'm okay, Everything's going to be okay Vie Vie...
