So I started my first Dietbet about a week ago. I had seen it on Facebook through a friend of mine who had just completed one (and won!) I figured it was really time for me to take control and start a healthier lifestyle. I had just moved in with my boyfriend and we have been living like it's college. I gained the freshmen 30! This DIetBet drew to me because it was Karina Smirnoff of DWTS fame, one of my favorite shows EVER. In the week since I have started, I have lost 6.8 lbs. CRAZY! I know a lot of it is water weight, but I have also been watching my calories, sugar, carbs, salt and fat. We were down the shore and instead of getting greasy food, I ate granola bars and had a grilled chicken for dinner. Granted, I did have fries and a margarita, but I'm doing everything in moderation. I feel better, not bloated, it's been easier to wake up on time in the mornings, and I want to keep this going. I think after this DietBet I will do one more Kickstarter before my cruise, and then do a Transformer for the Fall!
