Ya know, these addictions to cigarettes, drugs, alcohol...I am sure they suck. Seriously. I can only imagine the struggle people claw through to get healthy and away from those evils.

But I think food addiction is a bit harder (just in my opinion).

Because you can live withour a cancer stick...you don't need crack to keep your heart beating...and alcohol is not a necessity for sustaining life. But food HAS to be part of your life. You can't NOT eat. It is always going to be there.

And I eat all. The. Time. When I am sad. When I am bored. When I am tired. When I am happy. When I am lonely. When I am drunk. Oh and when I am starving! Lol this is the biggest hurdle for me. I can run 3 miles no problem. I can play 4 games of competitive volleyball with no issues. But dammit, I just have to fill my pie hole!

I am so determined to prove that if you just eat right and exercise, you can lose the weight, feel better and maintain that lifestyle. I am just not a fan of weightloss programs. They aren't feasibly sustainable for the rest of your life in my opinion. Quick fixes will get you back to your same problems if you dont make healthy lifestyle changes (or remain on those programs forever). I am not knocking anyone who has had success with Advocare, Thrive, etc.

I just want to show other women that you dont have to fork over money because you see before and after photos...because they are running a special sale and you get a mixer for free....

Let's do this! Rant over.
