I joined the Dietbet that Chris Powell started because I need to lose weight.  I feel that I am missing out on a lot because of my weight and I'm tired of it.  I just started to watch what I'm eating this week and I'm getting in more walking.  I'm going to start this out slow and build from it, giving myself the reasonable goals that I know I can achieve.  Then I'll add more and more until I get where I want to be.  The biggest motivation (besides wanting to be healthy and not having my knees hurt) is a cruise to New Zealand and Australia in March.  I will be at my goal weight by that time and I'll have the time of my life!
