Some days are great and some days..... well... some days are the PITS!

Lets face it, I get all excited about my weightloss and then I do the look see in the mirror and ICK! looks like nothing has changed, then I say to myself is it worth it? I mean, I love beans - really love beans - but the canned ones are so high in salt and does anyone like bean w/o salt? NO... and salt is not my friend right now!  (btw - back in May I wrote a blog on salt - https://www.dietbet.com/community/posts/general/10449-tip-26-watch-the-salt)

This year is a busy year for my hubs and I. We get to travel! And not just to see his mom! We get to go places! I went to New Orleans with him back in February and next weekend I get to go to Colorado! But since I am dieting I won't partake on new canabus laws there (yes that's the reason! haha)  Oh and in August it's Las Vegas baby! We go 2 or 3 years without going anywhere and then BOOM! We have a trip 5 or 6 times in the year! OK enough of that.

Fact is, I want to be down in clothing by Vegas when I will see old friends who have not seen me in 2 years.  I was all excited about the clothing (went to the store and tried on a size 12!!!!) but then I look in the mirror and all I see now is a fat old lady.... who is missing out on cheesecake!

OMG! How do I get over and past this????

AND... this might be key.... I listen to motivational youtube and I try to set a new goal.

We have done this the first second of 2014 and 2015.... and sadly I was.... almost last... maybe last.. I am not looking it up to confirm.  MY GOAL is to finish this at 45min into the new year 2016!!!!! Already I know I will NOT be carrying at least 50 pounds! I hope I can make that 100 pounds less by January 2016!!!!!!!!

AND I WALK! --- WALKIES with my fitbit! Walkies with my husband! Walkies with my headphones! Walkies with myself and my thoughts! I have in the past couple of months gone from 10,000 steps a day to .... <drumroll> 20,000 steps almost ever day!

and that is how I pull myself out of the dumps!
