Yesterday I was looking forward to making some super yummy Cherry Garcia soft serve "ice cream" with frozen bananas and cherries. But my blender was not up for the task. I was irritationally irritated about this. And by irritated I really mean crazy mad. I added so much almond milk that it would have been less of a soft serve and more of a soup.

Frustrated, I threw it out.

This morning my husband sat at the table when I was eating breakfast and quietly suggested that I buy a better blender. Now, mine isn't the cheapest one out there, but it's also not $700+.

I told him that I was not going to spend a ridiculous amount of money of a blender.

To which he quipped, "So you won't spend money on a blender but you will spend a lot of money to buy a sun conure? This is for your health."

Don't tell him this, but he's leaning towards being right. I need to prioritize my health. I'm looking at one of the more expensive Ninja blenders but to tide me over to get my soft serve fix, I bought a food processor today.
