I struggled but I hung in there for six months by juicing and walking A LOT!  I started juicing first.  I heard about it from the Youtuber, Shay Carl.  And then I heard about Joe Cross and saw his movie, Fat, Sick, And Nearly Dead.  I was curious when I saw Shay Carl doing it and convinced when I watch Joe's Movie.  I found this site for recipes.  http://juicerecipes.com/  I also read a few books.  Juice Fasting and  Detoxification by Steve Meyerowitz.  Very good book to get you started and understanding juicing when your new, as well as the website for recipes above.  I joined Facebook groups that juiced for help, hints, and motivation.  I even logged my weight on a free website that kept track of that sort of thing and exercise, etc.  Then I found DietBet from Shay Carl, again.  I thought, I want to do that too!  I joined one and was excited!  At that time I was drinking one juice a day and eating two meals, with a bit of snacking.  When I saw that I was not losing but maybe a pound or if that...  I decided to do a juice fast.  I started slowly tho.  I cut out snacking for a week, then the next week I replaced one more meal with a juice.  The next next week, all my meals were juices.  I also was drinking water too.  You have to drink water too!  64 oz. of juice and 64 oz. of water, A DAY!  It was hard, cause I wanted to eat what my Hubby was eating, but after the first couple days past, I was fine.  I juiced fasted a whole week.  Still not losing very much tho and feeling like I had some energy to burn, I started walking.  I had a gym membership and I would go there on days I couldn't walk at the parks and trails I liked.  Treading at 1st 1 hour, 3.0 speed, incline of 3.  I can now do speed of 3.3 and incline of 7 for 3 hours.  Once I was walking tho, and juicing.  I was dropping!  It was all healthy too.  I started at 214 lbs and made it to 171 lbs.  Not my goal weight, but still impressive in my mind.  I went from size 18 in pants to size 12.  Extra large in shirts to mediums.  I feel great and you can tell by looking I've lost weight.

Sadly, I started a job in May and it has totally messed up the schedule I was keeping to juice and drink and walk.  So I have stopped my juicing and etc.  I'm maintaining 180 lbs. and trying to eat smart.  I'm ok with this for now and I hope to figure out how to continue again.  My schedule at work is never the same and it makes this very hard!  But I know what to do and how to get in shape.  It's just getting there again.  And I will!
