So I just started my first DietBet and I'm excited! About 3 1/2 months ago, I had my second child. I gained about 45 pounds and I plateaued about half-way down just doing what I had been through my pregnancy (which was basically nothing and eating WAY too much sugar). I was itching to go back to working out and lose the last 20 pounds.

The day after my six-week check-up, I recorded my weight and measurements, and then I pulled out my BeachBody Turbo Jam DVDs and got my sweat on. I started keeping track of my calories, which motivated me to eat healthier and not snack on sugar things that didn't fill me up. The weight started peeling off and I lost 4-5 pounds in the first 2 weeks. ThenĀ I saw a post online about the Bikini Body Mommy Challenge. I was wanting to add some weight training routine to my workouts and I thought this would be a good start. So I started doing Challenge 1.0, a 90-day-challenge with free videos on YouTube, and was seeing awesome results! I was feeling so much stronger, even though I was so wiped out by the end of the day and my body ached. I made it through to Day 25 before I missed days 26 and 27 because I was starting to come down with something. I jumped back in on Day 28 to and retook my measurements on Day 30. Since the day after my six-week check-up (a span of a little over 1 1/2 months), I have lost 11 pounds and 12 inches around my body! I'm amazingly proud of that, especially since I didn't even know I had 12 inches to lose!

Sadly, I ended up coming down with a cold and then went on vacation, so I fell out of my routine and went a little nutso on all the junk food while traveling, so I've gained a couple pounds back. But I am ready to bounce back in and take off the last 10 pounds and hopefully even more and get my body back in shape!
