We all want to get healthy, be fit or want to fit into a particular dress size.. Whatever maybe our reasons, its so important to take the first step in that direction. Easier said than done.. is it really that easy breezy?? It might almost sound too dramatic but for many of us we are bound by the shackles of Food! Food is an essesntial integral part of life but we seem to be captivated by the so called "forbidden" variety.. the one that gives us instant pleasure, a feeling of satisfaction , which plays mind games with us, teases us , makes us crave for more and ultimately generously provides us with a sugar high, extra piles of fat and ofcourse ailments that we have read, heard about & today we proudly own :(
How do we show FAT who s the BOSS? How do we take back the CONTROLs of our life..How do we get DE-Addicted?? There definately are many suggestions and each one of them are right. So, let me be another contributor to this pool.. SELF Discipline! We have heard the saying " Rome was not built in a day"! and so body is not going to change overnight ( How we wish it was true though right !). The idea is not just about building but also about sustaining it.. so let the journey not be about weight loss but be about lifestyle changes and few steps at a time..so take charge by coming in terms of your biggest fear and deal with it for 40 days in a row..Yes! its not going to be easy.. 1st day you are motivated.. 2nd day a little less.. 3rd day your mind might question the need for this task! 4 th day you might feel "Screw it!.i have one life so damn the whole thing" 5th day another reason.. and you will be surprised by the innumerable reasons your mind can come up with for you to give up. But you be strong.. Tell your self you have checked into a Rehab..a food rehab & you are getting clean NO MATTER WHAT.. You got this.. I got this.. Let s make FAT cry :))
