So, let's see if this blog thing motivates me a little more, ay?

I already did two bets. One with the very lowest stake, and one with the highest available. I won both. 4 weeks discipline doesn't seem to be too hard for me. But what happened between the two games? Frankly: I blew it! The second game had a higher starting weight than the first one.

Sucks!

So this time around, I'll do a Transformer instead. Stick to the plan 6 months, instead of just 4 weeks. And if that doesn't help form healthy habits,... I don't know what will.

A side node regarding stakes: The turnout I expected was... not what I expected. ;) I thought: cool, high stakes, higher win. Well, in absolute numbers that's true. In my 10$ game, I won 9.22$, in my 100$ game, I won 14.13$. But if you consider the "loss of interest" or whatever you wanna call it, the lower stakes game just has the better return value. It almost doubled my stakes, whereas the high stake game only added a good 10%. Probably because folks don't mind so much about 10$ so the incentive to really pull it through isn't as high. Bad for me, good for everyone else in the high stakes game ;)

Anyways. Enough blog post, back to work.
