Meal Prep was on point this eveing. Hearty Stew chock full of veggies--cabbage, collards, carrots, kale, white, green, and red onions; urad dal (split black beans), roasted turkey, blended: celery, garlic, drum stick leaves, bell peppers, cilantro, suya pepper, guajillo chile, tomatoes, red bell peppers, cumin, turmeric, fenugreek, blk mustard seeds, anise seeds, coriander, sazon, blk pepper, oregano, coconut milk, seasoned salt, ground peanuts.  it all blended well and was both colorful and delicious.

For snack: green smoothies were on deck--kale, collard, carrot, grapefruit, chard, lacinato kale, bananas, pomegranate, blueberry, all blended and stored for tomorrows snacks---i blended using frozen packs which made for an excellent frothy texture; these were also a hit with my folx.

As for the internal work---that's a bit more muddled.  There is much more work that goes into dismantling fragmented or disjointed systems than one might believe or even be in the notion to address.  However, on this journey, as on previous journeys, I am forced to face myself and own/take responsibility for all my actions and attitudes that pull me away from optimum health (said health being my goal, right?)  Well each day is a reckoning and realization--reckoning with my own habits that had driven this train off the rails and damn near over a cliff and the realization that the power and responsibility to set things aright lie within me.  And then theres the most important part---the DOING of it all...combining what i know with tangible actions in manageable yet repeatable ways until my ultimate goals are realized.  This gift i'm giving to myself, wrapped with care, patience, and perseverance. #HeelsDugInForTheLongHaul #GladForInertia
