Happy day.  I work up this morning and did my "official" Round One Weigh In for Diet Bet and I am confirmed a winner in this round.  Officially down 6.8 pounds since October 25th.  Five of those in the past 9 days.  This crazy "diet" is working.

After I submitted my weigh in I made myself a cup of Yogi Detox tea which I sipped while I prepped breakfast.  I didn't hear my George Foreman "ding" so I overcooked my breakfast patty, thank goodness for the mushrooms.

We went shopping for weekend supplies after breakfast.  Caught the meat market at a good time and only had to wait about 10 minutes for service.  Stocked up on New York Strip Steaks, London Broil, a whole Beef Tenderloin and 2 beautiful Delmonico Rib Eyes (for Friday).  I plan to portion the tenderloin and freeze it in individual portions ( marked with weight).  The trimmings I will save for Christmas fondue Bourguignonne.  We also stopped at Kroger for some Simple Truth Organic Chicken Breasts and Pork Tenderloins.

Days 10 and 11:  "Phase 2 - Unlock Fat Stores" Very High Proteins, High Vegetable, Low-fat Phase (no grains & no fruit except lemons and limes)

Breakfast:  4 ounces Simple Truth 90% Lean Ground Beef, 8 Ounces Button Mushrooms (dry sauteed and deglazed with Kitchen Basics No Sodium Chicken Stock and 1/2 teaspoon Bragg's Liquid Amino Acids, a handful of baby Romaine dressed with 1/2 teaspoon Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar. (278 calories)

Snack 1:  Egg Whites "poach/scrambled" in Kitchen Basics No Sodium Chicken Stock with Bragg's Liquid Aminos

Lunch:  4 Ounces London Broil, 1 Cup Broccoli, 1/4 Cup Chopped Sweet Onion, 2 ItWorks Greens Chews.

Snack:   Egg Whites "poach/scrambled" in Kitchen Basics No Sodium Chicken Stock with Bragg's Liquid Aminos

Dinner:  4 Ounces New York Strip Steak, 1 Cup Asparagus, 3 Ounces Baby Romaine with Pompeain Balsamic Pomegranate Vinegar
