It's only been about 7 months since my last DietBet. Last May, I was weighing in the 230's. Down almost 70 pounds in 2 years since I had my youngest. When I first got pregnant, I was still a tad under 200 pounds. Within 9 months and 6 weeks post-partum, I gained almost 100 pounds!!!!

When I went in for my 6 week followup with the baby, the doctor was speechless. After numerous tests and panels, we found nothing. No excuse as to why I had gained this much weight. I followed a good diet plan with exercise for about a year and only lost about 20 pounds. After more tests and no more answers, I was put on medicine to help with my weightloss. About 6 months later, I had lost nearly 60 pounds! I decided to go off of the weight loss medicine and try my journey on my own. 

Back to the 260's and back on the weightloss medicine. I'm keeping it simple, now. Eating right and exercising. Finding inspiration and motivation on social media has proven that I'm not alone in my journey and I'm not the only overweight woman in the world.  I'm not constantly looking for new programs or diet plans and stressing over that. I watch my macros but don't have a 'macros plan', not yet, anyway. I log my calories in and out on SparkPeople and I'm making every moment count.
