Day 127 – Together (“we got this”) Tuesday!

Ok – so I had a little “shit fit”, “temper tantrum” & meltdown in yesterday’s blog (thanks to all who read & endured my pain)…all I can say is that was the best therapy possible. I woke up today almost enlightened…feeling lighter…the “weight” of frustration that was causing me such silent grief seemed to be gone. One would never know. It just goes to show how powerful our own minds are…it really all starts from the top & filters down (and I don’t mean the shit pile…lol).

So, now that I am feeling so much better, I woke with a spring in my step. A wiggle to my jiggle! It’s as if I had a small epiphany of sorts & that epiphany being…IT’S ALRIGHT!!! It isn’t worth getting my BIG gurl panties all twisted. As Taylor Swift sings, “Shake it Off, Shake it Off”!

Today, I remain positive & I set a challenge to anyone who reads this…it’s a positivity pledge. Let us all pledge to be positive towards others, but more importantly to ourselves. We are always so quick to put ourselves down, instead of giving ourselves a break…lets all breath & be positive…

I challenge everyone to write or say 5 positive things about yourself. Now, if you are like me, this is a HUGE task as I have so often in the past NEVER had anything nice to say about myself, but remember folks, we’ve ditched that attitude to make room for our new positive-ness…ok – fears aside, here goes:

  1. I am proud of myself.
  2. I like the new me.
  3. I feel good in my new body.
  4. I look good.
  5. I am fierce!

Ok – so the challenge is on…and I once again must say that I can’t do this alone. It takes constant motivation & support, dedication & determination…that’s where you, fellow DietBetters come in. Your words of encouragement, your advice, your stories & situations only allow me to grow in the direction I need to, so for you, I say thank you!

LAUGH, LOVE & SMILE...the rest will take care of itself...BE KIND to YOURSELF & OTHERS!
