Even if I hadn't reached it, I would be that much closer to it. That's what I kept telling myself. This last few days I was starting to feel like I wasn't doing enough. So I started intense house cleaning, and dropping calories like crazy. No coffee, no tea, just water with Mio in it. No snacking. A berry smoothie for breakfast, and veggies dominating my plate.

In this weather we can't walk very far because it's all ice right now. Where I live there are cougars, and wolves. I don't have a dog or anyone to walk with, so this last few days I doubled the amount of moving. Even sitting down I would keep dancing. Doing laundry, I would dance. I did some intense cleaning too. Taking down decorations, climbing the ladder and cleaning all the upper corners by hand to get all the dust out. Moving around boxes in my storage room to make room for the new decorations. Rearranging furniture to make all the new Christmas gifted furniture fit.

I was definitely burning more calories than I was eating, but eating enough to keep up my energy. This coming round, I have a feeling it'll be easier, because not only have I seen the results, I also won't have seemingly endless holiday dinner invitations.

I'm not in this alone though. Not like I thought. When I started posting my results on facebook, a good friend of mine started giving me tips, moral support, and meal plan ideas that she uses herself. Not to mention my friends and family with their continuous support, letting me know that I can do this. It's funny how a quick note of "You're doing great!" can change your mood and give you that boost you need.
