Just heard of dietbet and thought I'd give it a go.
I signed up for Weight Watchers in November and lost 20 kilos between then and April, so six months. I was very happy with that, but then settled in to life and stopped tracking. I then decided that I didn't want to track my whole life so I'd just see how I went. I've put on a couple of kilos since because I really have been going a bit wild. I've kept up the exercise that I also started in November which has been great, though unfortunately there was also a foot injury in the mix which is still giving me grief. I work around that and am having it treated.
Where I stand now:
- I enjoy doing weight training at the gym. I love feeling strong. I love my shoulder and arm muscles! It also makes me feel tough which is cool :P
- I don't want to 'diet' so much as treat my body well: eat food that makes me feel good and respect my body's signs of hunger and fullness - so much harder than it sounds, eh?!
- It would be amazing to lose 4% of my weight in 4 weeks - because that's when I'm heading to Europe from Australia for the first time. At the size I am now, I'm right on the top of regular size clothing. It would be very nice to be able to shop for clothes in Europe without worrying whether most stores will have anything that fits.
