Today was supposed to be my full 8am-7pm work day on campus. It turned into a snow half-day and I was home by 1pm since Snowzilla is in full effect.

So yesterday I logged all my food. Here is my total calorie and macro breakdown:

1408 calories 166 grams of protein 55 grams of carbs 46 grams of fat.

So I modified my fitness pal to target for 1200 calories 120 g protein, 90 grams of carbs and 40 grams fat bc I CAN'T with the fat right now. I love fat WAY more than carbs and have Alli pills in case I do consume too much fat in a meal. Therefore, I made all my goals except I ate too much fat (STILL!) thanks to the two mini crunch bars my fiance tossed at me (they were frozen and lasted me 15 minutes each SO I ENJOYED MYSELF EATING THEM). Ooops. I managed to live a little. I'm in grad school, I am planning a wedding, I work three jobs. Kill me. At least I sexercized for over an hour. Make it rain dopamine.

If you're wondering how many calories you burn for each position this creepy old man has broken it down for you on myfitnesspal

Just kidding that was a joke

But there IS a sex calculator, thanks to the uk
http://www.sexcalculator.co.uk/
I now know my usual routine burns 126 calories.

ka-ching (better than my usual nothing) = 1282 calories, my sedentary lifestyle requires 1700 cals.

ANYWAYS

so far today i've had two plain eggs for breakast + a light turkey sandwich with a naked side salad and fruit salad for lunch (free thanks to my job!) So far I've had 649 calories 41 g of protein 86 g carbs and 18 grams of fat. I am definitely going to be grilling some chicken later- maybe some broccoli as well. As Snowzilla hits I am getting more and more comfy with the idea of being snowed in without power for the next 3 days bc my elliptical runs on batteries! ;)

I got to hang out with two of my favorite people at work today; steph and vanessa. it's crazy to think how different yet alike we all are. Vanessa is going through a divorce at 23, I am planning a wedding, Steph is single. Steph lives in a townhouse with roommates and has earned several awards for placing first in nationwide marathons. Vanessa has been overweight her whole life and struggles with body acceptance. I struggle with it all. Yet we all find a common ground in our passion for our field. Today we held a Q&A panel with the new incoming class for 2016-2017. Over 330 ppl have applied this year and we are only interviewing 60. I was so proud to hear why everyone chose us (and flew in on SNOWZILLA the storm of the DECADE in DC) and they all had the same answer "MAIC" which I work for!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have the highest APA accredited internship match rate in the nation (the average is 35%; we have a 98% match rate) thanks to the hard work and dedication of MAIC since the mid 90's. We are the top PsyD school IN THE NATION (I have known this for quite some time but legally we were not allowed to put it in writing until 2 weeks ago- and that's when the applications started pouring in). We had students fly in from Nigeria, Portugal, Russia, Hawaii, even Syracuse University muahaha- literally EVERYWHERE today- and it was fascinating to hear all of their experience. Some of them more than ME! I can't believe I got accepted fresh out of undergrad because if I were to apply with the same experiences THEN, NOW, I would've been turned away. It's getting competitive out there folks! But the good news is that the mental health field is finally being fine tuned. Once and for all.

Have I mentioned I love what I do? Because I do.
