Well, it has been 10 days and I'm losing weight really well.   I have lost 8.1 pounds, almost a pound a day.  Everything is changing.  My diet really doesn't bug me at all.  It's a low carb diet and I didn't change my daily routine much.  I do not feel like I am depriving myself of anything I love.  Obviously I can't have pizza and Chinese food, which would be AWESOME!  However, even though it would be amazing I do not want to feel like crap afterwards.  I do miss coffee.  Before you say anything, I do not drink typical coffee.  I drink starbucks Carmel macchiato's, which have 34 grams of carbs!  Makes me sad :(  

My typical day:

  • Breakfast: Designs For Health Choc. Paleomeal Shake
  • Snack 1:  handful of Roasted Almonds lightly salted 
  • Lunch: Tumaro's Low carb wrap (4 net carbs) w/ boars head cracked pepper turkey, 1 slice american cheese, tomato, spinach, cucumbers, & NO dressing (helps I don't like condiments).
  • Snack 2: carrots & low fat string cheese
  • Dinner: Anything low carb:

o    Chicken Marsala

o    Chix sausage w. peppers, mushrooms, & roasted red peppers 

o    Turkey Burgers, no bun over bed of spinach, w. pickles and spinach.

o    Salad w/ grilled chicken w homemade Italian dressing.

 

I can't wait to see the scale when it has my goal weight of 130 on it.  That will be a wonderful day, until then I'm happy with any loss!
