Good evening all,
my name is Emilija and I live in Toronto, Canada. (Whoop :p) For as long as I can remember I was always the athletic one yet at the same time overweight. Ever since I was little I was playing sports and stayed very much active playing basketball, shotput, discuss, weight throw and swimming (got pretty good at all of them). That being said as much as I love sports I'm not a big fan of the gym, I find it to be very boring and I am so much more engaged when playing a sport. As much as I liked sports they did not like me back and 2 years ago I blew (ruptured) my ACL playing basketball, the following year was surgery and now that brings us to now. I am amost 2yrs post-op and (unfortuantely) just getting back into sports. Needless to say I am very much excited to light my competitive nature and lose weight and win money what could be better then that?! So now with a new knee (and brace), support and the drive to succeed I hope to lose the weight! I will try to make little posts here and there, just to try something new and see if bloging will help. I will make realistic goals that I can achieve, not have that "screw it" atitude if I eat more then I should have or cheat, and stay positive. I think that it's very easy for people to just give up when their results aren't what they want them to be (guilty of this), so I plan on having a positive yet realictic outlook on my weightloss journey. So find a new sport that you've never tried before, take a class, god for a hike don't be afraid of new challenges! I look forward to meeting some new people and hearing about your stories in the process and we CAN do this, together!! :D
