
This graph is a representation of my weight for the months of January and February. So for the first unofficial weigh in, I expected to be down a few pounds. Not because I was doing really well on my diet, which I was, but I knew to expect the reduction of water weight with the changes in my lifestyle. As it happens, I went down 5 pounds, over half of my goal. This gave me an almost unfair impression of how good I have been doing, but what can I say, I'll take what I can get. However, it was quite gut wrenching to find that I had gained back 3 of those pounds post workout, once I rehydrated. I have to keep reminding myself that weight loss is kind of like being on a trampoline, the more force you put on your body to go downward, the more force your body will attempt to return upward.
