For years, I have been battling obesity. I was supposed to lose all my weight after my first pregnancy, but LIFE got in the way! 25 years, another pregnancy and death of my father found me at my highest weight ever. How did this happen? I didn't eat a dozen eggs at a time or a whole cake at one sitting like I had seen other obese people admit to over the years. So, how did this happen to me, a one time athelete in my younger days? I guess like they say, it is not how much you eat, but WHAT you eat that makes the difference. I was so busy with life, kids, work etc, that fast food was my life. I ate fast food sometimes up to 4x a day. I would wonder why I got so heavy, because I mostly just ate breakfast, lunch and dinner like everyone else. So, why me???? I didn't snack all the time either. But, when I took the time to realize that what I really was eating was a bunch of CRAP!!!! High calorie, fat, sodium laden CRAP!!! Through the years I have tried so many diets, programs, B6/B-12 shots, etc, but this time, I am trying to just use common sense and exercise to reach my goals. There are NO magic pills for a lean healthy body(no disrespect to anyone who does use those means-to each their own.) No more lotions or potions for me! It is time to get real and figure this stuff out for myself.
