Well one week (and some change) down of the DietBet and I'm seeing minimal changes. I've lost about a pound and half, which is fantastic, but always discouraging when it's less than what you thought it'd be. 

I'm being too hard on myself. Which is something that we are all guilty of! I forgot to mention that I was sick last week and had a massive headache and sore throat for 3 of those days. Oh...and my baby was sick - which all you parents out there know, when baby is sick ain't nothin' getting done! 

So...what am I gonna do about it??? I've got an idea! 

I'm going to persevere and keep moving forward. That's all you can do! Life throws ya curve balls...all I need to do is swing the bat a little differently! (It's summertime and a great baseball reference was too great to pass up!!!) 

So...what did I do to move forward???

I did two workouts yesterday and made sure I prepped my food last night for work today. I've drank my Shakeology and had a banana for breakfast, chicken, spinach, & strawberry salad for lunch, and I'll be having grilled pork chops with asparagus for dinner. I've got healthy snacks on hand like almonds, a cheesestick, and some clementines. AND I'm going to drink plenty of water...get your H2O in people!

There you have it...a little progress is better than no progress AND I have a plan to be better than how I've been so far in the challenge. Slow and steady, right?
