So why is fiber one of my goals? Because it's not just about feeling full. If it were only that, I wouldn't be too concerned. BUT... getting 30 grams of fiber a day also helps improve your body's response to insulin. When your body's processing sugar better... well, you know, that's all about beating bad metabolic cycles.

(This blog from Yale details the study that I'm getting this info from, and it's easier to read than the original study! http://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/making-one-change-getting-fiber-can-help-weight-loss-201502177721)

So, I want to shoot for 30, but today I just scraped up to 21. This is hard! I ate an entire 9 oz. package of broccoli! And I just counted up the fiber in my lunch salad, and it's only 4g.

Anyone have any favorite tricks for increasing fiber? I know broccoli and berries are good--anything else easy to squeeze in?
