Well, this much needed program has started. I'm very psyched to do this. I'm glad I found this. My most important competitor is me. Since I was a child I've been competing against me. Sometimes winning, sometimges losing. These last couple of years I've been losing more often. I'm an eternal yoyo.

At 15 I started my first weight loss program going to 'fat camp' for one year. I studied there, I lost alot of weight (42 kg or 92 pounds). In about 4 years I gained everything although my involvement in sports  had transformed me into a buff -fat-dude.  Again I lost 40 pounds (from 126-100 kg) and gained it back eventually. Rinse and repeat, I lost it all again. The next couple of years were easier for me keeping my weight relatively stable, still fluctutating between 8-10 pounds. I guess at one point I got sick of it and again my weight shifted back to about 277 lbs or 126 kg. I did my first protein diet and I got to 226 poounds once more. Guess what. Again I gained it back and got sick of dieting until I reached 140 kg or 308 lbs. I went to a dietician and I lost 15 kg again only to gain a couple back. The thing that is new though is for about one year I've been stable without fluctuating which is for me a great milestone.

The last couple of months I'm having a hard time watching what I eat while my exercise level is pretty high. I needed a challenge and I found this site. I love sports and my weight is holding me back to become better at what I do.

If my grasp on English appears to be lacking sometimes I must admit it is not my mother tongue, although I should do just fine.

Greetings and good luck
