Glad to see the scale down a bit more today. Realized I have to kick it up a couple notches with the whole exercise thing. This 'extra padding' ain't comin' off by itself. Ya know what I mean?

Eating smaller portions of healthier food is fine but if I'm not challenging my body with exercise I'm truly not getting healthier overall. And that's my main goal. Sooooo no more fitting it in. It needs to be a regularly scheduled part of my day - no excuses! All these other activities are fine - cleaning house, landscaping, walking the dog, they all count but not like I need them to count.

We have a treadmill, free weights, weight bench, loads and loads and LOADS of other exercise paraphernalia and DVD's (including the Insanity ones - what in the heck was I thinking when I picked up those?!? That I was an athlete or something?) and I/we (my overweight and out of shape husband) don't really use any of it.

Well that all stops now. Right now I can barely make it through Jillian's WARM-UP routines on her DVD's and that's absolutely PATHETICALLY PATHETIC!

Going to mix it up. A little bit of this and a little bit of that from the DVD's, books, yoga, yep getting a smattering of it all from now on to keep my body working different areas and keep my mind from getting bored.
