Hello everyone,  this is my first blog post.  I am happy to be a member of DietBet here.  As for my weight history, here is my history.

 

I am currently in the process of loosing about 25 pounds.  I have lost 11 pounds on my first DietBet challenge.  I am hosting my own challenge starting the Monday after Thanksgiving weekend.  I am excited about that !! 

 

In the past when I have lost weight, I would just about starve myself, exercise like a crazy woman and lose anywhere from 20-40 pounds in a short period of time.  It is not that way this time. 

This time, I am trying to lose a few pounds and then maintain that weight for a period of time.  I have to have time to get my willpower back going again. 

I get bored very easily.  Seems like I need a variety of activities going on to feel happy.  But I am getting away from my subject. Smile.

This first DietBet I lost 11 pounds rather quickly, and then maintained that weight until the end of the challenge.  The process wasn't that terribly hard.  Maybe most of that was a lot of water weight.  I don't think this next challenge is going to be that easy.  But I am getting myself psyched up. 

I should start out somewhere around 177 pounds for the challenge.  If I need to lose 4%, that will be 7 pounds I need to lose.  That's very obtainable, but I have to get my exercise game cranked up. 

I have a few exercise DVDs that I will be doing.
