I started my post baby weight loss journey at the end of October '16. I was sooo excited to finally be on board mentally with knocking off these pesky pounds that I immediately got myself on track and stuck to my plans! I've done so well and have managed to take off 10lbs, but the holidays really have made me take a turn for the worst! My motivation has gone out the door! I hate the fact I can't afford to go to the gym (it was SOOO convenient that they had 2 hour childcare) but in reality I can "work out" from home... The beginning was rough because I jumped right in and injured myself. Once I was able to start back up I found a way to ween myself into this new lifestyle and it worked! After a while I noticed I was only going to continue to injure myself if I didn’t get new shoes - and soon! Let's just say in-between that time and now I managed to talk myself out of lunch time runs for a good week and some change... Now that I have my new shoes I plan on NOT letting anything stop me!! Lunches are for running, I've meal prepped for the week, I plan on watching my water intake and adding some lemons to every few glasses I drink! :)

 

I love having a reset button (aka: new years) come around at the perfect time to help me get back on track! Now it's up to ME to hold myself accountable!
