This picture was before the holidays... actually last summer ... before I put 20 pounds back on.. but I like it and I am going to get back down before spring!!! and the way I am going to do it.. PLAN IT!!

The only way I can succeed on any diet is to prepare my snacks for the week!

Now i usually divide up my stuff... for example I have 6 avocados (1 a day) But the cream cheese I havent divided - but probably should.

I will put my black olives into 6 or 8 jelly jars. And I will put my pork rinds in seven 1 cup jars.  My hubs isnt doing keto so I will put his carrot sticks in 1 cup containers and I will chopped celery so it's ready to mix with cream cheese and olives for a chunky salad.  I will grate 3 or 4 cups of carrots ready to be a salad for my husband - along with chopping a large onion and putting it in the fridge for salad.

Now I cannot say how low carb this is.. but it looks low calorie and tasty! http://carbswitch.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/carbless-meals-carbless-recipes-snack-cucumber-sub.jpg

Take a cucumber (They left the skin on so I will make sure I buy ORGANIC! and probably peel stripes) cut in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. then inside cream cheese (they used a flavor I wont) mustard for flavor and Turkey breast! (I probably will use ham) but YUM!!!!

PROBLEM is that I don't think it can be made in advance - BUT if you have it in the fridge, I am thinking that it's quick... maybe made the day before and wrapping in cling wrap.

Another is using the cucumber to make little finger bitesized sandwiches... again... not really something you can make today for the week, but something to plan for. And I am thinking that zuccinni would work just as well!

cucumber (1 whole) .3g fat + 2g protein + 9.9 g Carb

zucchini (1 large raw) 1g fat + 4g protein + 8g carb

BE AWARE either of these could be your ONLY carbs for the day!!!

On the other hand you could use pork rinds as a small finger sandwich 'bread' (4.5g fat+8g protein+0g carb)...... or LETTUCE! One leaf of iceburg lettuce has only 4 calories + 0g fat + .3 protein + .7 carb)

Now I might boil up a dozen eggs so that I can have 2 a day ready to use.

I ate thsi last week and I might make these again before the end of the day! http://healthysnacksforwork.blogspot.hu/2015/04/easy-to-make-snacks-turkey-and-cheese.html

I will definately cut a block of cheese into serving size portions.

My point is... get those snacks ready to go today and have a successful week starting  tomorrow!!!

Just found this... BACON BREAD!!! add lettuce and tomato between??!!! OMG!! I might have to do this!!!
