Just completed a 12 month physician weight-loss program and met my goal of losing 50+ lbs. However, I am finding that despite all, the lure of the "forbidden" foods and portion control is causing me to start gaining back. Since I have retired, and money is a bit tight (along with all those new clothes I bought!), making a wager on myself may be the incentive I need to take back control! Fingers crossed!!!
The thing is, I know what I need to eat--and that there are no "forbidden" foods, but it seems like sometimes food tastes soooo good that I cannot stop at one serving. I am exercising--not enought weight/resistance training--but doing the old-lady shuffle a couple times a week (my term for alternating jogging and walking for 30 minutes). So, let's go team!!!
