
Well guys...I gained my weight back!
First, last year I lost a good bit of weight with Diet Bet. Then...hubby and I had our second baby. She was born in February. Gotta say...she is a beauty! (So is her brother. He's turning 2 this week).
I am now 2 weeks post birth...and about 40 lbs post-healthy-weight-for-me.
So, it's back to the drawing board. I really, really, really want to be my healthiest and happiest.
DietBet is a fun way to kick my butt into gear :-D

Argh. So, the weight came off quickly for the first few weeks post birth. About 25 lbs total.
But then nursing all day and all night kicked in. Let me tell you, cluster feeding is no joke. Even though I'm MAKING myself exercise 30-90 minutes a day, my diet has been ROUGH.
I'm living off of maybe 3 hours of sleep a night. All I feel like doing is sleeping...and eating high carb foods like donuts :-O
I def lost this round.
But I am also getting stronger (all those calories must be good for something, ha ha). My old bench press was 225 lbs. Right now, I'm back to 135 lbs...but making strength gains.
So, that's good.
Game plan next round: Replace empty carbs with green vegetables. 45 min strength training/30 minutes cardio 5 days a week. 60-90 minutes of cardio on off days.
I'll let you know how it goes
