I tried something simular to Atkins minus the cheese, dairy, and other high fat foods. I lost an incredible amount of weight. I cannot afford to start the program again. It was very helpful as they did weekly weigh ins, provided food recipes, administered B12 or B6 injections, provided appetite suppresants, and monitored your blood pressure at every weigh in. However, I had to stop due to the money factor. I am trying Atkins again and have for the last several weeks and I havent lost any weight. I did start working out when I began my weight loss journey. I dont know if im not working out hard enough or I am still eating too much! Frusterating. I get very hungry because of the medications that I am on. I was on meds before and didn't have this problem so I am not sure. :(
