My entire life I have dealt with the ups and downs of weight gain and weight loss.  I tend to be motivated for weeks at a time and then completely unmotivated for MONTHS at a time.  I have never really followed any real weight loss program however I have successfully lost 20 lbs in 10 weeks a few years ago on my own.  I had joined the Biggest Loser Challenge at my old company and ended up taking home $450.  Just enouh to buy an iphone (which is what I had always wanted).  I had motivation, I had competitors and I finally won something.  As soon as the challenge ended I was back to eating terrible, skipping out on the gym and crying over walking up one flight of stairs.  Ever since 2014 I have been fighting with myself to get back on track and stick to a healthier lifestyle.  My motivation comes in waves.  I went to Cuba last year (2016) and spent one month straight in the gym.  I toned up fairly quickly, went to Cuba ate my heart out and came back home and continued to eat my heart out until the beginning of this year (2017) I booked another trip to Cuba spent from January 1st until early Februrary watching what I was eating and going to the gym.  Flew to Cuba, ate my heart out, came back and continued again with my bad eating habits that I had aquired while I was on vacation. I seem to only lose weight when I have a reward at the end of it.  Which is ok for short term goals but I really would like to establish long term healthy habits and stop looking at healthy eating as such a detriment to shape up quickly then forget it all when there is no motivation left.  I am hoping that by being apart of this 6 month tranformer I will be motivated monthy by the groups' support, cash prizes and potential to win that vitamix! I am mostly hoping that I will continue that healthy habits that I will be doing once the 6 months are complete.
