I have been a yo-yo dieter since, well, it feels like forever. I remember the first time I was called "fat" in elementary and from that point on it feels like I was always thinking about the food I put in my mouth and how to make myself skinnier. But I remained a chubby kid to an obese kid to a chubby teen to a obese teen. There were times I was healthier but never fit or even healthy looking.

I have been on so many different trends trying to lose the weight. Some were healthier for me than others but the weight would always come back. What I seem to have always gone back to is running or for me very slow jogging. I love being outside and blasting my music. Pushing myself to get to this part of the street before the course of a song comes back around. I could lose myself in thought and run (slow jog) my stress away. I always loved the look on people's faces when they would learn that chubby me was a running fanatic.

When I had my 2nd daughter is when my exercize and what you maybe could call a diet went out the window! I was craving queso and orange chicken all the time. There is a joke with my husband that my daughter is only made out of those two items. I put on close to fifty pounds and when I had her that weight just stayed. I would come home put myself on a tredmill but I was still eating like I was pregnant. While I was working on losing the weight for baby number two I got pregnant with baby number three... I was so excited but yet SO worried that I would continue to gain weight. But I maintained! I became lactose intolerant and that helped me keep on the right track because I could not cheat or I would be sick for a day and a half.

It was during this last pregnacy that my friend joined Beachbody. She had just had a baby and lost all her baby weight plus some. I made up my mind that I was going to start this journey as soon as I had my little one and my Dr gave me the go ahead. That was Jan of 2017 and I am typing this here in May 21 pounds down and countless inches! I have done different challenges back to back to keep myself motivated and I love eating so clean! I am so excited to push myself some more and I cant wait to see what I look like at my absolute healthiest!
Good luck to everyone in this game! Even if you only lose a pound you are a winner!
