Hey Emily,

It sounds so cliche, but this really has been a lifelong journey for you. You've been pre-occupied with your weight, eating habits, ability to exercise, and your self-perceptions for as long as I can remember. There have been times when your efforts have really worked, and there have been times when your discipline went into the wind and you let go of yourself, consumed by anxiety and external pressures. What I have noticed, though, is that you love yourself and your body so much more than you used to. Sure you have rough days or patches of days, but you have come so far in your desire to have high self-esteem, high self-confidence, and a high feeling of self-worth. Lets take what has worked, what hasn't worked as well, and all the progress you've made and everything you've learned about yourself and make this work for you! No excuses, no self-pity, no being over-critical of yourself, this process, or society. You won't remember those french fries a week from today, but you will remember how you feel about yourself and how that makes you a better person.

Love you,

Emily
