Oh my gosh, I'm so happy! I'm ecstatic! Thrilled! I just won the three Kickstarter bets I entered last month. After a long string of "runner up" finishes (losing my money and my mojo!), I finally feel like I'm on the right track again.

I must keep reminding myself, though, that this weight range is a whole new experience for me, and I need to practice to learn how much I can ere from the nutritional straight and narrow and still stay in a healthy weight range. For so long, I weighed over 200 pounds -- well over 200 pounds! -- for years! Those lifestyle habits are pretty entrenched, and it may take many months to get that "feel" for what is a normal portion, a normal meal, or a normal day/week.

This stage of my "new healthy lifestyle" is a lot like riding without training wheels for the first time. I have had some spectacular falls -- but I am slowly regaining my balance. I'm getting the hang of this! Although I may well fall again, I intend to keep practicing!

And today, I am happy. I am very, very happy.
