My goal?  Hike rim to rim of the grand canyon.  Need to get this weight off first!  Quit smoking 1 year ago.  Yay ME!  But now time to focus and get my body under control.  

I want to be smug and say "I only eat vegetables or I don't do carbs" and thats how I lost my weight.  I also don't want my daughter to have to take care of me and do chores that I should be doing just because I am overweight.  I don't want to wonder if I will be allowed to go horse back riding because I weigh too much.  I don't want to have my stomach touch the tray table on the airplane.  I want to be able to paint my toe nails without doing convuluted acrobats.  So many reasons to lose this extra weight!
