hello everyone!

Hello, my name is Debi...I am Canadian and a mother of 1 daughter and 2 healthy grandchildren...been with my husband 41 years and still going strong!! 

I really had never struggled with my weight as a young adult...however after having my daughter I have been up and down for over thirty years...my problem is I eat junk....don't eat breakfast or lunch most days but snack on crappy food all day and after supper...which is usually BBQ chicken or steak served with a large baked potato and salad (which the dressing is high in calories). I don't exercise and wasn't drinking water.... Also too much alcohol.... A glass or two of wine most nights of the week.. Yeech!

Since joining this amazing challenge, and only the second day in, I've been eating better, drinking half my weight in water and I do a 30 minute workout....it's been difficult to get going however I feel so good about doing something so healthy for ME!  It's about Me right now and I'm going to get through this... Not going to let the negative crap get in my way...I just tell myself ...one day at a time"!

this group looks very supportive and I really just want to get healthy at the end of the day.. Thank you for reading and I truly wish you all the best in this months' journey...
