Day 1 - here we go.   I'm going to try and make one change a week.  A least for the first month. 

Cutting down calories and eliminating certain foods is a given but I'm also going to try and address issues that make overeating and gaining weight far too easy.  

Number 1 - take time to savor the food I'm eating.

Sounds simple I know, but I'm very guilty of making food, taking it back to my desk (breakfast, lunch and dinner - I work from home) and eating it 'fork to mouth - fork to mouth' without even taking my eyes of my computer for a moment.  I'm like a working / eating multitasking machine sometimes.  

So my first change is going to be slowing down, shutting my computer and taking the time to savor food, look at what I'm eating, actually taste it and engage my brain on the tastiest task in hand instead of the computer screen!
