So, mid December I won my 1st Dietbet! I was so relieved, as during the middle my weight loss slowed dramatically, I was drinking and eating awfully, so the last week I pushed myself. I barely ate, I exercised alot and hit that target. I felt awful though. The strict calorie counting was hurting me and I knew it. I put on alot of the weight immediately after, granted it was christmas, but still. This is why that game was such a loss for me. Dietbet should be about the gradually loss, not the hurry and do it all in one week, punishing your body. It's about steadily changing your lifestyle to create sustainable and long term weight loss. I have just started my first transformer game, as well as my second bet with jordanshrinks. To succeed this time, I am going to be taking part in dry january, as when I drink I tend to eat more, and alcohol causes food to be stored as fat. Hopefully this change will hel pme stick to my food goals. I am not going to calorie count this time either, but I am going to make a conscious choice about every meal and snack. My reccomended calorie intake for loss is 1,200. But I'm not going to panic about this goal as I have in the past, if I'm a little over I'm not going to stress. As long as the food I eat is good for my body. By the end of the transformer game, I want to have lost weight of course, but also to be leading a better lifestyle. That starts today. I know it will take time to kick my habits but I need to do this for me and my future. My lifestyle now is unsustainable.
Here's to 2018, here's to change.
We can do this.
