So, I've been doing this thing called Intermittent fasting. The word fasting makes peoiple pretty uncomfortable pretty quickly but stick with me for just a minute....

There's some pretty compelling research about this out there. doing a quick google scholar search will return a number of hits. But the thing that really solidified it for me was reading Dr. Jason Fung's book about it called "The Obesity Code." It explains insulin resistance in a way that makes it completely clear. It was almost like someone had turned on a light in a dark room. If you'd like to read it and have never used Audible before, you can get a free credit to use on it. For everyone else it may be worth setting up Overdrive. Be ready to have your mind blown away from this service. I love books so I'm in love.
