I have been successful in the past with Dietbets and now I am back with more weight to lose!  I was overweight for the majority of my teen years and adult life.  When I hit 30 I started to make better choices and began running for the first time since high school and managed to get in better shape, but still not at a healthy weight.  I had a baby in 2012 and decided it was time to really be serious about my weight loss journey!  I wanted to be a good example for my son and provide him with healthy food.

In 2012, my husband and I began eating clean and using Advocare products.  I also increased my exercise - I had been running, but not much else.  When I added strength training to my routine I saw a dramatic difference in my body.

In 2013 I hit my initial goal which was to be at a healthy weight - and I made it to 159 (which is the highest possible weight for my height to still be considered healthy.  I enjoyed wearing a size 8 and feeling really good for a couple months, and then I got pregnant.

My second son was born last month and now I have 2 goals - first goal is to get back to 159 which means I need to lose 30 pounds, and then I want to hit my next goal which is to weigh 150 pounds.

My plan is to eat clean and exercise. I am doing a 24 day advocare challenge - which I started yesterday - as a way to jump start my plan.  The plan I am doing is an altered version of the typical advocare 24 day challenge as I am nursing my son and therefore, I cannot do a cleanse.

I am using my fitbit and during my recovery from child birth I am waiting to start running, but my goal is to hit 10,000 steps every day on my long walks with my boys.  I also plan to start today doing the Advocare workout dvd which contains 7 workouts - each 24 minutes long.

I am excited to get back on track and feel good about myself again as well as having the energy to keep up with my toddler!
