I'm really enjoying the DietBet because it's making me THINK.  I've come to realize that this whole fitness and weight thing is just like everything else in life:  it's all about my choices and my attitude. If I want to be successful, I have to make that happen myself.

The choice thing comes into play every time I start to put something in my mouth.  Do I really WANT this?  Do I really NEED this? Will this fuel my body adequately?  Am I eating out of frustration or anger?  Is this a healthy choice or not so much?

I am learning that I'm not hungry much at all; in the past I've just chosen to eat because it was there or it looked good or I wanted something sweet or salty or whatever.  Now I've learned to do some analysis, practice some control, and seek options that will make me the healthiest I can be!
