So this is my second dietbet and I'm so exicted to start! I won my first one and it was such an amazing experience. I lost almost 15 pounds and was really proud of myself. I've been overweight since middle childhood, and its only gotten worse as I've grown up. This was the first time I've ever commited to something and seen (and felt!) results. Unfortuantely when it ended I had a ton of cravings and ate and ate, and then started fall classes and stopped working out and completely stopped eating well. So of course I gained the weight back. But just knowing that I had done it before and can do it again is so inspiring. I'm trying to stay positive and not think about where i would be if I didn't fall of track, instead I'm thinking of it as a learning experience.
I have learned so much from my first dietbet and that will make me MORE successfull than before. One thing I plan to do is move EVERYDAY, for at least an hour (even if its just walking). Staying activie is such a huge part of being successful. Another thing I think that is super important is meal and snack planning. If you don't have to think about it, its easier not to cheat or allow yourself to just grab fast food. Something new I'm going to try is about half way through my dietbet I'm going to join another one! Last time I did this I was good for the first week, okay during the second week, then gave up during the third, and went hard during the last one. So I think joining a second bet during week 2-3 will help keep me on my toes.
