Pretty much skipped a week of working out. I got injured at work - punctured by index finger with a needle that hit a nerve. Very painful! So I didn't want to aggravate it by doing a ton of burpees. On meds now. Still feels weird and painful at times but a lot better. Also was busy all last weekend with work and a ton of school work, papers, trips to the doctors office, etc. I know - making excuses. I did try to do squats every now and then and with my job I stay pretty active. My diet during the second week was not the best either. Not enough daily veggies. Too much white rice (I'm asian. I'm just surrounded by rice all the time). But I did eat a lot of fish this week for some reason. However, I also had plenty of midnight Reese's cups. Now time to get back into it! Rather than just quitting completely because I missed practically a week, I've decided to pick up where I left off and complete this diet bet with Zuzka and all of you! I will be doubling up workouts though until I catch up with Z's schedule unless it's a particulary difficult one (i.e. ZWOW 49, what a killer! but so much fun and amazing feeling afterward) or if I've worked too long that day (sometimes I pull 12 hour shifts). Try to eat more veggies this week and less rice. Do my best to avoid chocolate but getting my period soon sooooo I can't make promises (let's be realistic here). Yesterday, caught up with the 300 jump squat challenge. Tonight, completed ZW0W 49 and week 1 of the challenge. Tomorrow starting Week 2 while the rest of you are resting up for Week 3.
