The last time I was under 190 pounds was when my husband and I started dating back in 2006/2007. I was 182 but a size 10. I was very athletic, and went on runs and did classes at the gym. Then in 2007 I tore my left ACL for the second time, and had a cadaver graft. I was told not to tear that one! So no more running over 1 mile! Since then, my weight went way up. I love to cook, I love to eat, and I love beer! And that will never change. What WILL change is what I cook, what I eat, and how often and how much beer I drink. When my husband and I got married I was at my highest weight EVER...220lbs. I was incredibly happy on that day, but I was secretly crying on the inside I had let myself get to that weight. My mom is diabetic and I didn't want that for myself. Since getting married in 2011, I now fluctuate 195-200lbs. My new goal is to get under 190 and to become more active. My ACL is no longer my excuse! I do have knee pain if I do too much, and I really need to strengthen the surrounding muscles so that I don't strain my knee. I graduated nursing school this past year, and starting my new job, I can tell I need to be more fit! I work on a medical telemetry (cardiac) floor, and SO many of my patients are there because of complications from diabetes or cancer or alcohol abuse. I want to be an example to myself and to them.

So here is to my journey to 190 beginning again!
